The weather has got less sunnier, the days are getting shorter and another group of international fashion house shows has fallen down on the world’s fashion areas, from fashion forward New York to cutting edge London. Yip, October is surely here, and as usual, we have our designer fingers on the proverbial pulse of fashion’s thumping heart! With our variety of British and international clothing designers spanning from the incredible iconic fashion houses (Lanvin, Balenciaga) to the fiercest names (Alexander McQueen, Stella McCartney) to the red-hot ones to watch (Christopher Kane, Erdem), it’s no big surprise designer fashion’s elite usually mention that they don’t get their clothes and bags anywhere other than Matches! This season fashion is dramatically structured, and we’re in love with some of autumn’s mind-blowing statement-making trends. Christopher Kane’s fiercely cool animal printed tops have been snapped up by the designer fashion pack, gracing front rows and the hottest fashion pages of newspapers alike. The animal t-shirts are the undeniable partner to another key clothing trend at the moment – leggings – yup, this is the perfect opportunity to flash those sexy legs, and Freda, Sykes and of course Les Chiffoniers have all got some mega-sleek, gorgeous pairs. For the more daring, there are thigh-high boots – these are the absolute look of the Winter season; beloved fashion designer Stella McCartney’s version are black leather, gorgeous, and utterly drop dead jaw dropping.
